We are authorized to increase our capital upon the decision of our board of directors, without the need to amend our by-laws, up to 200,000,000,000 shares, limited to 100,000,000,000 common shares and 100,000,000,000 preferred shares. There are no other classes or series of preferred shares outstanding. Under Brazilian legislation, the number of preferred non-voting or restricted voting shares, such as the preferred shares, may not exceed 50% of the total number of outstanding shares issued by a Brazilian financial institution. |
