On February 13, 2009, Ames National Corporation (the “Company”) issued a News Release announcing the first quarter of 2009 cash dividend of $0.10 per share, payable on May 15, 2009 to shareholders of record as of May 1, 2009. A copy of the News Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
