AMES NATIONAL CORPORATION DECLARED CASH DIVIDEND

AMES, IOWA - On February 14, 2018, Ames National Corporation (the “Company”) declared a cash dividend of $0.23 per common share, which is a 4.5% increase from the previous dividend of $0.22 per share. The dividend is payable May 15, 2018, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 1, 2018.

On February 14, 2018, the Company also declared a special one-time cash dividend of $0.25 per common share. This dividend is in addition to the Company’s normal quarterly dividend. The dividend is payable May 15, 2018, to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 1, 2018.
