BALATON COMPLETES PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF US$240,000
AND SETTLES DEBT OF US$28,388.40
Vancouver, B.C. Canada, September 19, 2005 - Balaton Power Inc. ("Balaton") (OTCBB: "BPWRF") is pleased to announce that on September 9, 2005 it closed a non-brokered private placement of 750,000 units at a price of US$0.32 per unit for gross proceeds of US$240,000. Each unit consists of one common share of Balaton ("Share") and one transferable share purchase warrant ("Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder for 24 months from the date of issue of the Warrant to acquire one additional common share in the capital of Balaton at an exercise price of US$0.44. The Warrant will expire on September 9, 2007. The Shares are subject to a four month hold period which will expire on January 10, 2006.
Balaton also announces that on September 9, 2005 it settled US$28,388.40 of outstanding debt at a deemed price of US$0.32 per unit resulting in the issuance of 88,714 units in the capital of Balaton. Each unit consists of one common share of Balaton ("Share") and one transferable share purchase warrant ("Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder for 24 months from the date of issue of the Warrant to acquire one additional common share in the capital of Balaton at an exercise price of US$0.44. The Warrants will expire on September 9, 2007. The Shares are subject to a four month hold period which will expire on January 10, 2006. No insiders of Balaton participated in the shares for debt arrangement.

BALATON GRANTS OPTIONS
Vancouver, B.C. Canada, September 19, 2005 -Balaton Power Inc. ("Balaton") (OTCBB: "BPWRF") is pleased to announce that on August 22, 2005 Balaton granted each of its directors 100,000 options at an exercise price of US$0.40 expiring three years from the date of grant on August 22, 2008. The directors of Balaton are: Richard Burdett, Robert Wyllie, Michael Rosa and David Wynn.
