Revenue is recognized when or as control of the promised services is transferred to our customers, in an amount that reflects the consideration we expect to be entitled to receive in exchange for those services. Contract Assets and Liabilities We had contract assets totaling $504.8 million ($373.5 million of which was current) and $474.4 million ($338.7 million of which was current) as of September 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021, respectively. We had contract liabilities totaling $321.8 million ($314.3 million of which was current) and $288.9 million ($280.7 million of which was current) as of September 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021, respectively. During the nine months ended September 30, 2022, we recognized revenue of $244.7 million that was included in the contract liability balance at December 31, 2021. |
