AMERISOURCEBERGENTO ACQUIRE XCENDA LLC
Adds Additional Manufacturer Services Capabilities
Valley Forge, PA— April 03, 2007AmerisourceBergen (NYSE: ABC) today announced that it has acquired Xcenda LLC, a privately held firm headquartered in Tampa, Florida, for approximately $25 million in cash. Xcenda will become part of AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group, enhancing the Company’s existing manufacturer services businesses and providing additional capabilities in the key areas of pharmaceutical brand services, applied health outcomes and biopharma strategies. The acquisition is expected to be immaterial to the Company’s fiscal year 2007 earnings.
