Item 8.01 Other Events.
On August 25, 2009, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services announced that it had assigned its 'A-' financial strength rating to the Registrant’s operating insurance and reinsurance companies. At the same time, Standard & Poor's raised its counterparty credit ratings on the Registrant to 'BBB' from 'BBB-'. The outlook on both of the ratings is stable.
