Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited (the “Company”) hereby announces that the listing of ‘Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group Holdings, Inc.’, which is the holding company that the Company will establish on April 1, 2008, subject to the approvals of the competent authorities, has been approved by the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Osaka Securities Exchange and the Nagoya Stock Exchange today.
