Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 17, 2014, Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit No. 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein, announcing that its board of directors has approved a 25% increase in the quarterly cash dividend to $0.15 per share of its outstanding Class A Common Stock beginning with the first quarter of 2014. The dividend is payable on February 28, 2014, to shareholders of record on February 14, 2014.
