On December 2, 2011, Jordan E. Slone resigned as a Class C member of the Board of Directors of Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (the “Company”), effective on that date. There were no disagreements as to the Company’s operations, policies or practices that led to Mr. Slone’s resignation from the Company’s Board of Directors.
