On August 11, 2009, Accenture Ltd (“Accenture”), the general partner of Accenture SCA, issued a press release announcing that Johan (Jo) G. Deblaere has been named chief operating officer of Accenture, succeeding Stephen J. Rohleder. Mr. Deblaere will assume the role of chief operating officer on September 1, 2009.
Mr. Deblaere, 47, has served as chief operating officer of Accenture’s Outsourcing growth platform since 2006. Prior to assuming that role, he served as lead of Accenture’s Delivery Center Network for Business Process Outsourcing from 2005 to 2006 and as client service group lead for the Public Services West Europe Client Service Group from 2000 to 2005.
A copy of the press release announcing the naming of Mr. Deblaere as chief operating officer, and other changes to Accenture’s organization and executive leadership, is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
