On September 5, 2023, Aspen Aerogels, Inc. (“Aspen” or the “Company”) issued a press release regarding the retirement of Kelley Conte, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, from Aspen and the appointment of Stephanie Pittman as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective September 5, 2023. The information set forth in the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

Effective September 5, 2023, Kelley Conte, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, will retire from Aspen. Also effective September 5, 2023, Aspen has announced that it intends to appoint Stephanie Pittman as Chief Human Resources Officer of the Company.
