5.02(c). Effective August 10, 2015, Aspen Aerogels, Inc., (the "Company") has appointed Jeffrey A. Ball, age 47, as its Vice President, Operations. Mr. Ball has served as the Company's Vice President, Engineering since January 2013. Mr. Ball has over 20 years of manufacturing and engineering experience with senior positions at Genzyme, Amgen, Bayer and Rohm & Haas. Mr. Ball holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University.
