On November 12, 2019, Alex J. Pollock notified the Board of Directors of CME Group Inc. (the “Company”) of his intent to retire from the Company’s Board of Directors, effective as of November 15, 2019. Mr. Pollock’s decision to resign did not involve any disagreement with the Company, the Company’s management or the Board of Directors.
As described in the attached press release, Mr. Pollock will be joining the U.S. Treasury Department as Principal Deputy Director of the Office of Financial Research.
