Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 23, 2014, Vitae Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Vitae”) issued a press release announcing positive top-line results from two Phase 1 clinical trials of BI1181181/VTP-37948, an orally active beta secretase inhibitor discovered by Vitae and being developed for the treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease as part of a collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH. A copy of Vitae’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is hereby incorporated by reference herein.
