Item 8.01 Other Events.
In a press release issued on January 3, 2007, Nabors Industries Ltd. announced that it expects its results for the fourth quarter of 2006 to be lower than current analysts’ consensus estimates as a result of weaker-than-expected Lower 48 and Canadian operations. The Company currently estimates that fourth quarter earnings to be in the range of $0.95 to $1.00 per diluted share. This implies a full year 2006 estimate between $3.53 and $3.58 per diluted share. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, is incorporated herein by reference, and is hereby filed.
