Item 8.01 Other Events
On January 4, 2008, Pinnacle Airlines Corp. (the “Company”) announced that it has purchased its Class A Preferred Share from Northwest Airlines Corp. (“Northwest”) at a purchase price of $20 million. The purchase is in accordance with the Airline Service Agreement between the Company and Northwest agreed to a year ago. The press release announcing the share purchase is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
