Cimarex Energy Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend

DENVER, February 27, 2009 - Cimarex Energy Co. (NYSE: XEC) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a regular cash dividend on its common stock of 6 cents-per-share.  The dividend is payable on June 1, 2009 to stockholders of record on May 15, 2009.
