SOURCEFIRE® ANNOUNCES PRELIMINARY
2007 FIRST QUARTER RESULTS
Columbia, MD - April 6, 2007 -- Open source innovator and Snort® creator, Sourcefire, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIRE), a leader in network intrusion prevention, today announced preliminary financial results for its first fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2007. Revenues for the first quarter of 2007 are estimated to be in the range of $10.1 to $10.5 million compared to $8.5 million in the first quarter of 2006. Gross profit for the first quarter of 2007 is estimated to be $7.8 to $8.2 million, compared to $6.5 million in the first quarter of 2006. The company’s GAAP net loss for the first quarter of 2007 is estimated to be $2.2 to $2.6 million, with approximately 8.6 million weighted average shares outstanding in the period. Sourcefire expects to report its full first quarter 2007 results in early May.
