On February 21, 2008, Monarch Community Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into a management continuity agreement with Rebecca S. Crabill, the Company’s recently announced Chief Financial Officer. The terms of the agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 10.1, are identical to those with the Company’s other executive officers. The agreement is incorporated herein by reference.
On February 25, 2008, the Company announced the completion of its previously announced stock repurchase plan and the implementation of a new stock repurchase program whereby the Company intends to repurchase up to 228,000 of its outstanding shares of common stock over the period ending December 31, 2008.
