On June 10, 2013, Monarch Community Bancorp, Inc. (“Monarch”) issued a press release announcing that the price per share for Monarch’s previously announced private placement of $16.5 million in equity securities had been set at $2.00 per share (post reverse stock split). The securities offered will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from registration requirements.
A copy of the press release describing the private placement and announcing the pricing is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
