CIT DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

NEW YORK– July 19, 2016 –CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT), a leading provider of commercial lending and leasing services, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per common share on its outstanding common stock. The common stock dividend is payable on August 26, 2016 to common shareholders of record as of August 12, 2016.
