On December 21, 2011, Transcept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Transcept”) issued a press release announcing receipt of a $10 million milestone payment from Purdue Pharma L.P. for listing Intermezzo® formulation patents in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Orange Book.
