Item 8.01 Other Events.
On November 11, 2014, Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Fast Track designation for TH-302, an investigational anticancer drug, for the treatment of previously untreated patients with metastatic or locally advanced unresectable soft tissue sarcoma (STS).
The press release is attached as an Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
