Item 8.01. Other Events
On August 31, 2016 the Board of Directors of Virtusa Corporation (the “Company”) promoted Sundararajan (Sundar) Narayanan, who was serving as the Company’s Chief People Officer and Global Head of Human Resources, to Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer and Global Head of Human Resources and an executive officer of the Company. On September 6, 2016, the Company issued a press release, a copy of which is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
