Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 23, 2019, Trovagene, Inc.(the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company and Nektar Therapeutics have entered into a research collaboration to explore the combination of Trovagene’s PLK1 inhibitor, onvansertib, and Nektar’s topoisomerase I inhibitor, ONZEALD, for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
