On January 17, 2018, AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, a Bermuda company (the "Company"), issued a press release providing the estimated net financial impact of fourth quarter 2017 catastrophe losses and an initial assessment of the impact of US Tax Reform on the Company's results of operations for the quarter ended December 31, 2017. The full text of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
