Explanation of Responses:

1. On February 20, 2018 Potlatch Corporation ("Potlatch"), Portland Merger, LLC and Deltic Timber Corporation ("Deltic") completed the merger ("Merger") contemplated by the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated October 22, 2017 among such parties. On completion of the Merger Deltic stockholder received 1.80 shares of Potlatch common stock for each share of Deltic common stock, with cash paid in lieu of fractional shares.

2. Beneficial ownership by reporting person to any of these shares is expressly disclaimed.
