On March 25, 2010, Conseco, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it will ask shareholders at their annual meeting on May 11, 2010 to approve a change in the holding company’s name to CNO Financial Group, Inc. A copy of the Company's press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
