Explanation of Responses:

1. Represents the current Class A common stock owned by the reporting person. No transaction occurred and is for informational purposes only.

2. Represents Performance Restricted Stock Units ("Performance RSUs") originally granted on May 9, 2022 to the reporting person pursuant to the Arlington Asset Investment Corp. 2021 Long-Term Incentive Plan that were earned upon the achievement of certain performance goals. Each Performance RSU represents the right to receive one share of the Issuer's Class A common stock. The Performance RSUs vest ratably beginning on May 9, 2025, May 9, 2026 and May 9, 2027, or earlier upon a change in control of the Issuer. This Form 4 is being amended to correct the description of the award granted to the reporting person.
