Explanation of Responses:

1. On June 26, 2019, First Financial Bankshares, Inc. granted the reporting person restricted stock totaling 11,953 shares. The restricted stock vests 33 1/3% at the end of one year, 66 2/3% at the end of two years, and 100% at the end of three years.

2. Amounts have been adjusted for the two-for-one stock split effective June 3, 2019.

3. Represents shares held by several trusts of which Mr. Dueser is trustee, settlor and beneficiary.

4. Represents shares that are owned by a family limited partnership of which Mr. Dueser serves as manager of the general partner and to which he disclaims beneficial ownership with respect to 417,004 shares. This report should not be deemed an admission that Mr. Dueser is the beneficial owner of these shares for purposes of Section 16 or any other purpose.

5. Represents shares that are owned by a family limited partnership of which Mr. Dueser serves as manager of the general partner and to which he disclaims beneficial ownership with respect to 319,646 shares.
