Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
On June 27, 2008, Rainier Pacific Financial Group, Inc. (the “Company”), the holding company for Rainier Pacific Savings Bank (“Bank”) was informed of the death of Director Robert H. Combs, who passed away on June 26, 2008. Mr. Combs served as a director of the Bank since 1995 and the Company since its formation in 2003. He also served as Chairperson of the Bank’s Personnel and Compensation Committee, the Company’s Compensation Committee, the Bank’s Executive Committee, and the Bank and Company’s Nominating Committee. Mr. Combs will be greatly missed.
