Item 1.01. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement
Employment Agreement with Al Joseph.On December 20, 2004, Al Joseph, a member of the Board of Directors of Tessera Technologies, Inc. (“Tessera”), entered into an employment contract with Tessera. Mr. Joseph will serve as Executive Vice President, will be employed on a part-time basis, and will receive an annual salary of $50,000 and a stock option grant to purchase 100,000 shares of common stock. A copy of the employment letter is filed as Exhibit 10.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
