(b) On August 28, 2019, Seth M. Wilfong resigned from the board of directors of Select Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Select Bank & Trust Company, effective immediately.
Mr. Wilfong’s resignation is not due to any disagreement with the Company related to its operations, policies, or practices.
Mr. Wilfong is a managing partner and co-founder of Atlas Principals, LLC, Charlotte, North Carolina. As Atlas Principals’ Portfolio Manager, he co-manages the portfolio and executes the fund’s trading operations. He has advised the Company that his resignation will allow him more time to focus on those duties, as Atlas Principals continues to grow.
