On May 30, 2007, John Q. Shaw, Jr. resigned from the Board of Directors of New Century Bancorp, Inc., Dunn, North Carolina, New Century Bank, Dunn, North Carolina and New Century Bank South, Fayetteville, North Carolina. The Board of Directors named Mr. Shaw a Director Emeritus of New Century Bancorp, Inc. effective May 30, 2007.
