the London Stock Exchange from Hoare Govett Limited's affiliate, ABN AMRO, Bank
N.V., London Branch.

Volume weighted average price paid per share: 657.21p
Hanson intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.
Following the purchase of these shares, Hanson holds 23,600,000 of its ordinary
