Explanation of Responses:

1. The Reporting Person is no longer reporting indirect ownership of shares held by Piper Sandler Merchant Banking Fund II, L.P. as a group of three or more individuals have voting and dispositive control over such shares, with each individual having one vote, and the approval of a majority of such individuals is required to approve an action; therefore, under the so-called "rule of three," no one individual is deemed to have or share beneficial ownership of such shares.

2. Subject to the reporting person's continuous service through the vesting date, the options shall vest in full on the earlier of (a) June 1, 2024, or (b) the date of the next annual meeting of Akoya Biosciences, Inc. occurring after the date of grant.
