Explanation of Responses:

1. This Form 4 corrects a prior administrative error, whereby 6,075 restricted stock units that have not yet settled were inadvertently reported in Table I as common stock.

2. Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of BlueLinx Holdings Inc. common stock.

3. The restricted stock units vest on May 17, 2020. Vested shares will be delivered to the reporting person within 30 days after the earlier of May 17, 2029 or termination of the reporting person's service on the Board of Directors.

4. The restricted stock units vested on January 11, 2019. Vested shares will be delivered to the reporting person within 30 days after the earlier of January 11, 2028 or termination of reporting person's service on the Board of Directors.

5. The restricted stock units vested on May 18, 2018. Vested shares will be delivered to the reporting person within 30 days after the earlier of May 18, 2027 or termination of reporting person's service on the Board of Directors.
