Item 8.01 – Other Events
On January 24, 2012, Bank of the James Financial Group, Inc. (the “Company”), the bank holding company for Bank of the James, issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing that its common stock has been approved for listing on the NASDAQ Capital Market stock exchange and that it would begin trading under the symbol “BOTJ” on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. A copy of the Press Release is attached hereto asExhibit 99.1.
