Item 8.01 – Other Events
On December 31, 2021, Bank of the James Financial Group, Inc. (the “Company”) completed its acquisition of Pettyjohn, Wood & White, Inc. (“PWW”). PWW is an SEC-registered investment advisor based in Lynchburg, Virginia with more than $650,000,000 in assets under management. As a result of the acquisition, PWW is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The Company previously announced its agreement to acquire PWW in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed on December 15, 2021. Additional information regarding the transaction will be included in the Form 10-K Annual Report Pursuant to Section 13 or 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act for the Fiscal Year Ended December 31, 2021.
