Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 18, 2011, B&G Foods, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has increased the Company’s quarterly dividend rate from $0.21 per share of common stock to $0.23 per share of common stock. The next quarterly dividend will be payable on January 30, 2012 to shareholders of record as of December 30, 2011.
A copy of the press release issued by B&G Foods announcing the foregoing is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1.
