Appointment of Shaun Toker as Chief Financial Officer
Effective August 17, 2007, Shaun Toker was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Triangle Petroleum Corporation (the “Company”), and the Company’s two operating subsidiaries, Elmworth Energy Corporation and Triangle USA Petroleum Corporation. Between April 2004 and August 2007, Mr. Toker was the financial controller for Trans-Globe Energy, an American Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange listed company. Between September 2001 and April 2004, Mr. Toker was a senior accountant with KPMG LLP, in Calgary, Canada. Mr. Toker received his Bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Alberta in 2001 and is a Chartered Accountant (Canada).
Mr. Toker does not have family relationships with any director, executive officer, or other person nominated or chosen by the Company to become directors or officers. In addition, Mr. Toker does not have a direct or indirect material interest in any transaction or proposed transaction in the past two (2) years to which the Company was or is to be a party. The Company and Mr. Toker are negotiating an employment agreement, which has not been finalized as of the date of this filing.
