Item 1.01. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
On January 4, 2005, WPT Enterprises, Inc. (the "Company") executed and accepted a Sponsorship Agreement with Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated ("ABI"), dated as of June 28, 2004 (the "Agreement"). The Agreement covers ABI's sponsorship of the 2004/05 season of the Company's World Poker Tour television series, which season will run until April 23, 2005.
