ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS
On June 4, 2013, Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors approved the reinstatement of a quarterly cash dividend. A cash dividend of $0.03 per common share, will be payable on July 15, 2013, to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 30, 2013. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
