Explanation of Responses:

1. As of April 1, 2019 Mr. Siegel owns (i) 0 shares of common stock and (ii) 176 shares of Series II Preferred Stock which vested on January 1, 2019. At the time of vesting it was determined that such preferred shares had a value of $0. The acquisition of the referenced security was reported on Form 4 filed on March 31, 2017.

2. The Series II Preferred Shares are convertible at $0.0018 per share and have voting rights equivalent to 25 common shares. These shares do not expire.

Remarks:

The reporting person resigned as a director of PositiveID Corporation, effective April 1, 2019. As a result, the reporting person is no longer subject to Section 16 in connection with his transactions in the equity securities of PositiveID Corporation.
