Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 14, 2007, BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. received notice from Sun Microsystems, Inc. that, pursuant to the terms of the leases, Sun Microsystems is terminating its remaining three leases at BioMed’s Pacific Research Center property, located at 7777 Gateway Boulevard in Newark, California, representing a total of 420,253 square feet, as of August 15, 2007.
