Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
On December 4, 2009, BioMed Realty, L.P., the operating partnership subsidiary of BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (the “Company”), entered into an amendment to its second amended and restated unsecured credit agreement with KeyBank National Association, as administrative agent, and certain other lenders (as amended, the “Credit Facility”), which increased the borrowing capacity on its unsecured line of credit by $55 million. Including the $65 million increase previously announced in November 2009, the Company increased the aggregate capacity under its unsecured line of credit by $120 million to $720 million. All other material terms under the Credit Facility remain unchanged.
The foregoing description of the amendment to the Company’s Credit Facility does not purport to be complete and is qualified in its entirety by reference to the complete text of the second amendment to the Credit Facility, which is filed as Exhibit 10.1 to this report and incorporated herein by reference.
