Item 1.03 Bankruptcy or Receivership
On December 24, 2008, MPC Corporation and all of its direct and indirect subsidiaries (collectively, the “Company”) determined to discontinue operations and liquidate their remaining assets. On December 29, 2008, the Company reduced the staff from approximately 280 employees to 50 employees who will execute the liquidation.
