On October 8, 2021, bluebird bio, Inc. (“bluebird”) issued a press release announcing an update on the upcoming planned business separation of its oncology program and portfolio into 2seventy bio, Inc. as a publicly traded company and the filing of 2seventy bio's Form 10 Registration Statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
