1. The reporting person was appointed as sole trustee of the John E. Sanfilippo Trust Dtd 11/02/1991 on April 11, 2018. The shares reported are held in trust for the benefit of the reporting person.

2. The reporting person was appointed as sole trustee of the John E. Sanfilippo Irrevocable Trust Dtd 10/06/2006 on February 23, 2018. The reporting person was a co-trustee of such trust prior to being appointed as sole trustee. The shares reported are held in trust for the benefit of the reporting person.

3. These shares are owned directly by the reporting person.
